Duncansby Geo

The cliffs of the geo rise near vertically for several hundred feet. Below the water, they continue straight down to a depth of about 20 - 25m at the sea entrance.

There are a number of caves in the side walls, many of these can be penetrated for varying distances before becoming too narrow to pass. Seals are often found in the caves and startle unsuspecting divers as they swim out.

This is not a 'shore-dive' site and can only be accessed by boat.
